The first volume of ``The Assassin Wants to Kill the Immortal Witch'' was released today, May 8th, by Overlap's Garud Comics f. This is a comic adaptation based on Mikura's novel.
Laranica, a witch who was persecuted for her immortality, hid from humans and lived alone in the depths of the forest for hundreds of years. Days when I despair of living and wish for death, but it doesn't come true. She picks up a former slave boy who is on the verge of death. She intended to take care of him only until his wounds healed, but unable to abandon him, she gave him the name Nox and decided to live with him. Nox's heart has stopped moving, but he gradually begins to open up to Laranica, who saved him. However, the immortal Laranica does not love things that have a lifespan. The story depicts a witch who cannot die and has given up on love, and a boy who adores her.
