Meiko Morita
An Akita high school student in his second year. She moved to Amamiya Girls' Academy in Tokyo and began living and working at Hedgehog, a manga cafe that doubles as a residence for students, in order to send money home to her family. She has a serious and compassionate elder sister demeanour and is the oldest of five siblings. She is frequently at the mercy of people around her, possibly as a result. Rie Amamiya
A Hedgehog resident and employee in their second year of high school. She is the sole daughter of the owner and head of the Hedgehog dorm and the chairperson of Amamiya Girls' Academy. Despite her extraordinary wealth and generosity, she has an odd financial sense. She has an enormous collection of comics, particularly yuri manga, and she adores them. She believes Meiko to be "Moritameiko," a young manga artist.
Marika Suzuki
A Hedgehog resident and employee in their second year of high school. She is slovenly and lazy. She enjoys utilising a heated table (kotatsu) and wears thick clothing all year round because she is sensitive to both heat and cold. However, she frequently simply wears knickers on the bottom. She goes by the moniker Marika Belltree and is a well-known video streamer. Her family appears to be highly conservative and owns a prominent school of flower arrangement.
Neo Nakano
A Hedgehog resident and employee in their second year of high school. Normally harmless, yet an evil side emerges when heated. He devotes all of his time to gaming with the goal of becoming a professional. He oversees the shop's computers and is an expert in information technology.
