“Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis no Kaiten” will be released on August 28th. The film depicts a world in which Homura becomes a "devil" in order not to lose Madoka and has rebuilt the world. Homura had everything she wanted, but a being who ended her distorted daily life suddenly appeared... This trailer talks about the existence of Nazuka Sotsune, the place where all witches began, and about Walpurgis Night, which once tormented Homura. Also included is the line ``I will not forgive Homura Akemi'' from the magical girls who seek the principle of the circle.
The theme song has been decided to be ``Kanata'' by FictionJunction, a solo project by Yuki Kajiura, who composed the music for ``Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis Kaiten''. Part of the song was used in this preview. Kajiura commented, ``It is such an honor to be able to compose all the music for this beautiful, nostalgic, painfully enchanting movie.''
