A TV anime adaptation of Aki Irie's "North Northwest ni Kumo to Go" has been revealed.

The Story Behind the Anime

"Cloudy to the North-Northwest" is a "juvenile mystery" that takes place in Land's End, which is located on the island of Iceland at a latitude of 64 degrees north. The narrative follows 17-year-old Kei Miyama, a detective who can converse with vehicles and has a weakness for attractive ladies, as he fulfils demands.

Background and Serialization

In March 2016, the series began to be serialized in Haruta before moving to Blue Knight (both KADOKAWA). It was revealed in February 2025 that the series would be quitting the magazine to pursue other interests. Yukiwariso's most recent work, "North-Northwest ni Kumo to Tsuzuki Part 1," will be published tomorrow, April 30.
