Volume 1 of Unwritten Rules ``Boy Meets Girl Starts with a Contract - Master, Dark Elf Girl from the Sky!'' was released by Takeshobo today, May 7th. This is a manga adaptation based on Suzu Miyama's novel.
The story begins when Claude, a miner with no family, rescues Shion, a dark elf girl who fell from the sky. Dark elves are seen as a symbol of misfortune in some regions, so Shion voluntarily jumped out of the slave trader's airship rather than suffer worse when she was sold. Shion adores Claude as if he were her master, as he saved her in a situation where she could have lost her life if she made one mistake. In order to bring her back to her hometown, Claude sets out into the wide world.
