It has been agreed that "Haruichi Furudate Haikyu!! Exhibition Challengers" will be the third original art show for "Haikyu!!". Using manuscripts and fresh pictures by Furudate, we can reflect on the development of Hinata and his pals. The first main visual was unveiled concurrently.
A massive youth volleyball manga that was serialised in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2012 to July 2020. The story takes place in Miyagi Prefecture and follows Shoyo Hinata, a member of the volleyball club at Karasuno Prefectural High School, as he grows through friendly competition with his friends, including Tobio Kageyama, a brilliant setter known as the “king on the court.” As of April 2026, the comic series' total circulation (including digital versions) has surpassed 75 million copies. Through a range of media mixes, including animation, stage performances, and events, it has garnered huge support both locally and globally, and its popularity has not lessened even after its termination.
The decision has been made to hold the third exhibition of unique work. The exhibition is called Haruichi Furudate Haikyu! Along with priceless manuscripts by Haruichi Furudate and several brand-new illustrations created especially for this exhibition, "Exhibition Challengers" examines the characters' development and growth, focusing on the protagonists Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama as well as the difficulties faced by those who persisted in striving for the "view at the top."
Simultaneously, Mr. Furudate's initial key visual for this exhibition has been made public. As third-year students at Karasuno High School, Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima Hotaru, and Yamaguchi Tadashi are seen in the image, which is based on the subject of Hinata and Kageyama's final spring high school volleyball frame from episode 370, "Challenger 2."
