It has been revealed that Izushiro's light novel ``The Strongest Magician's Reclusion Plan'' will be made into a TV anime and will begin broadcasting in 2027 on the ``Agal Anime'' slot on 28 CBC/TBS stations nationwide. At the same time, cast information, staff, teaser visuals, and teaser PV were released all at once.
``The Strongest Magician's Retreat Plan'' is a school action fantasy where the main character is Ars Regin, the strongest magician who stands at the top of over 100,000 magicians. In order to live a relaxed and comfortable life after retirement, Ars hides his identity and attends a magic academy, where he takes on the challenge of training the next generation and subjugating monsters. The original novel has been published up to 20 volumes. A total of 10 volumes of the comic version of ``The Strongest Magician's Reclusion Plan - The Alternative'' by Karu Yoneshiro have been released.
The role of the main character, Ars, will be played by Yuto Uemura. The director is Yusuke Suzuki, who directed the "Duel Masters" series and "I Want to Eat Me, Hitodenashi", and the series composition is "Special Combination Robot". Jyobyouemon Ichikawa, who worked on Job Labor and Himitsu no Ipri, will be in charge of the character design, Yuki Kitajima, who is the animation director for Detective PreCure and Yuru Camp△, and Takatsuki Hamano, who worked on Kaoru Hana wa Ling to Saku and IDOLiSH7, will be the sound director. Animation production will be handled by HOTLINE.
The teaser visual depicts Ars holding the magician's weapon "AWR" with a relaxed expression, against the backdrop of the work's symbolic Tower of Babel and a world degraded by monsters. The teaser PV shows Ars subjugating monsters with overwhelming power, and a scene that foreshadows a new encounter at the magic academy.

In addition, to commemorate the anime adaptation, a new series "The Strongest Magician's Reclusion Plan Zero -Hishiroku of the Beginning-" has started, which depicts the story of Ars before he enters the Second Magic Academy. Yoneshiro will continue to write the manga, and serialization is scheduled to start in Comic Fire this winter.
