The key visual and main PV of the anime "The World is Dancing" based on Kazuto Mihara's original work are now available. New cast information has also been announced. The work is scheduled to be broadcast sequentially on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and others from July 2nd.

The key visual depicts Oniyasha smiling amid falling flowers. The PV includes scenes of the dance, the meeting between Oniyasha and Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, and the appearance of new characters. In addition, the opening theme will be Macaroni Pencil's "Shuuyoi". Part of the song is used in the PV.

Takahiro Sakurai will play the role of Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, the third shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate who has big ambitions and high pride, and who searches for the "flower" that attracts people in order to unite the world. Nobuo Tobita plays the role of Yoshimoto Nijo, a former Kanpaku and a noble poet who calls himself a “follower” (fan) of Oniyasha. Mamiko Noto plays the role of Nariko, who is Yoshimitsu's legal wife and watches over Oniyasha and the others.
Original Characters and Story Arcs
Additionally, Inori Minase plays Inomaru's younger sister Chiharu, who appears as an original character in the anime. Seto Hazuki has been chosen to play Satsuki, a one-armed girl who works at a dango shop in town. It has been revealed that the Inu King will appear, but the cast has been kept secret.
Sakurai says of the work, ``It's a work that witnesses the beginning of Noh. Even if you don't have any knowledge like me, you can fully enjoy the fantastic story and beautiful animation.'' We also received a comment from series composer and screenwriter Sawako Kawamitsu, who expressed her thoughts, saying, ``It was a day when I desperately continued to dance, using all of my own history. Even now, many creators with their own histories continue to dance.''
On June 21st, an advance screening of the special edited version of episodes 1 and 2 will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly, Tokyo. Yumiri Hanamori, who plays Oniyasha, Kamiya Tsuchiya, who plays Ishiya, Maaya Uchida, who plays Kogane, Sakurai, who plays Yoshimitsu, and director Toshimasa Kuroyanagi will be on stage at the event.
