The Release of Volume 1
Volume 1 of Mikio Ando's ``Girls' Tale'' was released today, May 7th.
The Storyline
The work is a mahjong 4-panel manga that revolves around a funny story between Kurea Shishido, a gal shop clerk who is the number one boyfriend, Saki Kobayashi, an office worker who is a single mother, Shizu Ichihara, a struggling manga artist, and Ayako Omi, the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine.
The story depicts four people of different ages and social standings casually visiting Suzume-so, which is also a cat cafe, and talking about work, family troubles, and other topics that they would rather not talk about with those close to them.
Serialization and Release
It is currently being serialized in Manga Home (Houbunsha). The release of Volume 1 marks an exciting milestone for fans of the series, who can now enjoy the story in a collected format.
