15 scene cuts from the animated movie "You, Fireworks, and Promise" have been released, showcasing the beautiful fireworks and the characters' emotions.
Scene Cuts and Storyline
Scene cuts include large fireworks brightly coloring the night sky, the main character Makoto Natsume running a brush across the canvas with a serious gaze, and the impressive expression of the heroine Aki Hayama looking back at the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Also shown are a scene in which the mysterious girl Makoto meets, Haru, is wearing a kimono and staring off into the distance, Haru's eyes widening in surprise when she sees Makoto, and "a picture of fireworks" that holds the key to the story.
"You and Fireworks and Promise", which will be released on July 17th, is based on the novel of the same name by Kaori Madoka. A youthful love story that transcends time is set at Niigata's ``Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks'', which is considered one of Japan's three major fireworks festivals. Makoto will be played by Katsutoshi Sato (timelesz), and Kira will be played by Nanoka Hara. Haru will be played by Rie Takahashi, and Makoto's mother will be played by Natsuko Yokozawa, who is from Niigata.
